At Outreach Health and Wellness, we take a natural approach to treating medical conditions. From vitamin B12 injections to medical marijuana, our comprehensive range of services is here to help you address your health problems in a holistic way. If you would like to learn more about what we do, it’s time for us to answer some FAQs.

What treatments do you offer at Outreach Health and Wellness?

One of the most popular services we offer at Outreach Health and Wellness is the provision of medical cannabis. We can help you obtain a medical cannabis card after a thorough consultation. Other services we provide include:

  • CBD oil, which doesn’t fall under the medical cannabis program.
  • Vitamin B12 injections.
  • HRT treatment
  • Chronic pain treatment

The team at Outreach Health and Wellness uses their medical expertise to tackle modern conditions using natural health.

How can I get a medical marijuana card?

At Outreach Health and Wellness, we appreciate the benefits of using a medical marijuana card in Maryland. As qualified medical professionals, we’ll start your journey toward obtaining a card by taking your medical history and performing an examination. During the process, we’ll also provide you with information on the safe use of medical cannabis. We also recommend that you learn more about the laws surrounding how much you can carry on your person and store in your home.

Which conditions can medical marijuana treat?

Many of our patients use medical marijuana to tackle conditions such as depression and anxiety. As well as instilling a sense of calm, it’s a good treatment for tackling symptoms such as insomnia. When you’re able to enjoy a better night’s sleep, working your way through your mental health challenges can feel easier.

Other conditions you can use medical marijuana for include:

  • Anorexia, as it can stimulate your appetite.
  • Chronic pain, as it acts as a non-addictive form of pain relief.
  • Glaucoma
  • PTSD

If you have any of these conditions, we’ll assess your medical marijuana card on a case-by-case basis.

Is medical marijuana addictive?

No, medical marijuana is not an addictive substance. However, if you have any concerns we’re happy to discuss them with you.

Can I use CBD oil?

CBD oil is different from medical marijuana but carries many of the same therapeutic benefits. Although it belongs to the same family of plants as cannabis, it doesn’t require a medical marijuana card. If you require advice on how to use it, as well as the best brands to try, we’re here to help.

Can I take a natural approach to HRT?

Classic Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is highly effective, but you may want to take a natural approach for multiple reasons. Fortunately, the natural alternatives available are just as effective and they carry fewer side effects. At Outreach Health and Wellness, we can assist you in treating menopause naturally.
